About me
At Citrix Systems I have been the Area Vice President for Western and Souther Europe, an area including BeNeLux, France, Iberia, and Italy. In this role, I have been leading the sales and consulting teams in charge of the Citrix' Cloud solutions.
Previously, at Oracle I covered the role of Regional Vice President Cloud Infrastructure Sales in South Europe, an area including France, Iberia, Israel (replacing BeNeLux in June 2015) and Italy. In this role, I have been responsible for leading the Oracle sales and consulting teams in charge of Cloud Infrastructures (public, hybrid and private), including Engineered Systems.
And prior to Oracle, I was Country Manager for the Hewlett-Packard's Software & Solutions Division in Italy, and, prior to that, Managing Director for the Italian Subsidiary at Microsoft, which I had initially joined to lead their Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) Division.
I was born in Pisa, and I earned a M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy. I began my professional career at IBM, where I had worked for twenty years, covering a number of roles in sales and marketing with increasing responsibility. I worked at international level, managing sales organizations in the US and Latin America, where I was named General Manager for sales in the Manufacturing industry segment. Furthermore, at IBM I became Partner for the Global Services Division in charge of the consulting and system integration projects for the Industrial Sector Customers in the South Region of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
